When your skin is already oily or breaking out, adding moisturizer can feel like the last thing it needs. But skipping it can leave skin dehydrated, tight, and uncomfortable.
Skin Script Light Aloe Moisturizer gives oily, combination, and breakout-prone skin lightweight hydration without the heavy or greasy feel of a traditional cream. It helps keep skin soft, calm, and comfortable while leaving a light finish.
It's also a great choice when acne treatments leave your skin feeling dry or tight, or anytime you want hydration without adding richness.
What Makes It Different
Oily skin and hydrated skin aren't opposites. Your skin can produce plenty of oil and still be lacking water.
Light Aloe is designed for exactly that situation. It provides the hydration skin needs without adding the weight of a richer moisturizer, making it especially useful for oily, combination, or breakout-prone skin.
Its light texture also makes it easy to layer over serums, exfoliating products, and acne treatments without making your routine feel heavy.
Key Ingredients
Aloe Vera
Helps hydrate and calm skin, including visible redness and discomfort.
Sodium Hyaluronate + Glycerin
Draw water into the skin and help hold onto moisture without adding oil or heaviness.
Totarol
A plant-derived antioxidant that helps support clear, balanced-looking skin.
Spin Trap
Provides antioxidant support to help protect skin from everyday environmental stress.
Why It Stands Out
* Gives oily and breakout-prone skin hydration without a heavy or greasy feel
* Helps replenish water when skin is oily but dehydrated
* Lightweight, oil-free formula layers easily with other skincare
* Helps calm visible redness and keep skin feeling comfortable
* Works well after exfoliating products and acne treatments that can leave skin feeling dry
* Provides antioxidant support against everyday environmental stress
* Makes it easier to moisturize when traditional creams feel too heavy for your skin
Pila's tip: I hear people with oily skin say, “I don’t use moisturizer because I’m already oily,” but oil and hydration aren’t the same thing. If richer moisturizers feel like too much, Light Aloe gives you the hydration step without the weight. And when your skin is both oily and dehydrated, you can layer Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum underneath for additional water-based hydration.
How to Use
Apply after your serum or acne treatment, morning and/or evening. Massage a small amount over the face, neck, and décolleté.
If you’re using exfoliating acids or another acne treatment, allow it to absorb first and then follow with Light Aloe Moisturizer.
In the morning, finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Pairs Well With
Skin Script Raspberry Refining Cleanser
Pair with Light Aloe when breakouts, clogged pores, blackheads, or sebaceous filaments are concerns. The cleanser exfoliates inside the pores with salicylic acid, while Light Aloe adds lightweight hydration afterward without the feel of a heavy cream.
Skin Script Clarifying Toner Pads
A stronger pairing when breakouts, excess oil, and clogged pores are ongoing concerns. Follow with Light Aloe to add lightweight hydration after exfoliating.
Skin Script Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum
Layer underneath Light Aloe when your skin is oily but also feels dehydrated, tight, or lacking water and needs additional hydration without a heavier moisturizer.
